Parliamentary Secretary, Ms. Deborah Schembri, thanked both the Mellieha Local Council and Din l-Art Helwa for their commitment to restoring this site to the benefit of all Maltese and Tourists and future generations.
The restoration project, which includes the surrounding ditch and guard room is expected to take about three years to complete, with an estimated cost of €500,000.
