The White Tower is located in a prime area of high landscape, geological and scientific value, rich in both marine and terrestrial biodiversity, with close proximity to l-Ahrax tal-Mellieha camping area. The Marfa area presents a popular walking trail starting from the Mellieha Nature Reserve, up to the Red Tower and the Natura 2000 reserve including splendid views of the Gozo channel, Comino and Gozo. The trail extends to the beaches in Armier bay up to the White Tower and then returning via the cliffs of l-Ahrax tal Mellieha down to Mellieha bay.

By bus / on foot
SUMMER TIME
During Summer time, Route bus 49 (Valletta to Mellieħa Bay – Valletta) is extended to reach Armier Bus Terminus.
Disembark at bus stop “XMAJJAR” and proceed on foot towards Torri l-Abjad.
Two possible bus routes are available.
WINTER
Depending from your starting point, take a bus and disembark at bus stop “QAMMIEH”.
This bus stop is served by route buses 41, 42, 101, 221 & 222.
Proceed on foot to Torri l-Abjad.
By car
If you are starting your journey from the south of Malta, drive towards Mellieha Bay. Continue towards Cirkewwa. At the roundabout next to the Red Tower, take third exit towards Armier (follow street signage). Continue towards Torri l-Abjad.
If you are starting your journey from Cirkewwa / Marfa, continue towards Mellieha. At the roundabout next to the Red Tower, take first exit towards Armier (follow street signage). Continue towards Torri l-Abjad.
